Armstrong Tool & Die LLC
Precision Tooling That Saves You Time and Money.
Tool & Die Manufacturer in Pittsburgh
Our Versatility Makes Us More Than a Typical Tool & Die Shop
The ability to complete a wide variety of projects is one reason Armstrong Tool & Die LLC has been successful. We specialize in building complete stamping dies and the spare parts that keep them running for decades. However, our versatility also enables us to build fixturing to fit your specific manufacturing need or the gages that are a vital component in the quality control process. In any case, we have the experience and capability to deliver exactly what you need.
Besides delivering quality work to our own customers, we have partnered with several other CNC machining and tool & die shops. Often our partners need work completed that is either outside their specialty or isn’t cost effective to produce in house, that’s when they reach out to Jeremiah and his team at Armstrong Tool & Die LLC. Our sub-contract program enables your facility to continue working on what it does best.

Complete die builds including engineering.
Being a one-stop shop, not only do we provide spare parts, but we are also capable of complete die builds. We can build dies from your detail drawings or engineer them from your part print and provide you with detailed drawings upon completion. These can be anywhere from one hit “down and dirty” dies all the way to high precision progressive dies.
First article inspection ensures quality.
Quality is of the utmost importance to us, and our customer. If our customers require it, we have the ability to run the dies we build and provide them with first article inspection.
Our subcontractor program keeps overflow in check.
Over the years a good number of our competitors have become our customers. We often handle overflow work. Sometimes it’s only part of their project, other times they ask us to handle the entire project for them.
